(rɪˈzɪlɪənt) - People and things that are resilient are able to recover easily and quickly from unpleasant or damaging events; (of a person) from shock, illness, hardship, etc; irrepressible

(ˈbiːɪŋ) - essential nature; self.  a person; human being

Hello and welcome; my name is Andrew, and Resilient Beings encompasses three elements of my life that have become increasingly important to me; Movement, Mind and Mountains.  Each centre around health and wellbeing, allowing me to continue developing and face physical and mental challenges.

The most mature of the three are Movement and Mountains, paths I chose while still working for a large city institution.  Personal Training and Coaching born out of necessity to facilitate physical recovery and resilience against chronic back pain.

Becoming a Mountain Leader enables me to create bespoke adventures and experiences.  I find immense wellbeing combining the physical challenge and beauty of incredible locations, pure nature and wilderness.

In 2022, Mind will complete the three elements and create a greater connection between my clients' physical and mental resilience.

I invite you to join me on my journey, drop in from time to time, take what you need, leave what you don't, and maybe we will meet through your desire to explore your Movement, Mind or Mountain one day.

I started seeing Andrew due to experiencing lower back pain. After just a handful of sessions, I am already feeling the benefit of his experience. He has been most informative and has a wealth of knowledge. I feel both my fitness levels and mobility have improved. Along with the sessions, he put a plan in place to enable me to carry out regular exercise away from the sessions to ensure my mobility continues to improve.

The recent years of training have led to injuries for which I have been suffering with for some time which equally was leading to bad movement habits, and found that I wanted to shift a little focus on more specific technique and movement, which is why I was drawn to Andrew. To relearn technique and to be more conscious of how I moved for day to day benefit and also to improve movement during training with injury prevention in mind.

Andrew is an excellent personal trainer with a strong focus on technique. He takes the time to get to you know and make you feel at ease. Andrew tailors each session to help you achieve your goals. I highly recommend Andrew as a PT, especially for anyone who has a particular sporting love that they want to support with balanced and thoughtful training sessions.
