Resilient ~ Beings

(rɪˈzɪlɪənt) - People and things that are resilient are able to recover easily and quickly from unpleasant or damaging events; (of a person) from shock, illness, hardship, etc; irrepressible

(ˈbiːɪŋ) - essential nature; self.  a person; human being

Hello and welcome; my name is Andrew, and Resilient Beings encompasses three elements of my life that I am deeply passionate about; Movement, Mind and Mountains.  Each centre around health and wellbeing and are rooted in my journey, development, challenges and fears I have encountered on the way.

The most mature of the three is Movement, a path I chose while still working for a large city institution and one born out of necessity to facilitate physical recovery and resilience against chronic back pain.

Mind and Mountains are works in progress to further qualifications in each.  Each through realising and admitting I was not in the best mental health and a desire to combine physical and mental resilience. I find immense release accompanied by the physical challenge and beauty of incredible locations and pure nature in the latter.

I invite you to join me on my journey, drop in from time to time, take what you need, leave what you don’t, and maybe we will meet through your desire to explore your Movement, Mind or Mountain one day.
