Stability is developed!
We are not born with stability, we develop it by exploring our ENVIRONMENT. We start to ADAPT to that environment by LIFTING the head and looking around, ROLLING to being on our back to our front, CRAWLING to get to new places, we PULL ourselves up to STANDING; wobble a bit then fall down!
The following areas of the body designed to be STABLE.
Lower and Middle NecAk
A LACK of stability makes the brain WORRY as it tries to survive the day and stop us falling, tripping, injuring ourselves.
Stability is more than BALANCE, it is CONTROL and COORDINATION.
If you want a quick test see if you can:
STAND ON ONE LEG FOR 20 SECONDS
STAND ON ONE LEG WITH EYES CLOSED FOR 10 SECONDS
TOUCH YOUR TOES
AND not lose balance.
If you CANNOT do that, then you may well have a stability PROBLEM.
The GOOD news is it can be improved, and I can HELP you and TEACH you how.
