This may seem a weird one to directly link to real-life but have a think about how often we lift things overhead, either lifting things up to or down from high places; shelves, luggage bins, children (I know they are not things!)
This video shows how to position the shoulders in a neutral position. All too often shoulders are 'dumped' forward whether sitting at a desk typing or looking at mobiles. This creeps ever so quietly into the upper back with muscles lengthening and losing tone and, over time, the shoulder can become unstable. There is usually an aching that accompanies this adaptation and can sometimes lead to pain in the shoulder.
I hope you enjoy the video.
