Mobility - An Explanation

“Mobility is NOT FLEXIBILITY! It is entirely possible to touch your toes and have poor mobility.”

Mobility is a GIFT!

We have loads of it when we are born, and we lose it as the year progress, and we SIT more and MOVE less.

The following areas of the body designed to be highly MOBILE and have HUGE ranges of movement.

?Toes

?Ankles

?Hips

?Upper Back

?Shoulders

?Upper Neck

IMMOBILITY causes problems elsewhere in the body. That KNEE PAIN or lower BACK pain may have nothing to do with either and could be a response to POOR ankle or upper back mobility.

Mobility is NOT FLEXIBILITY! It is entirely possible to touch your toes and have poor mobility.

If you want a quick test have a go at my squat test and lower body movement flow.

If you CANNOT do that, then you may well have a mobility PROBLEM.

The GOOD news is it can be improved, and I can HELP you and TEACH you how.

GET IN TOUCH if you CANNOT do the squat test and RUN, CYCLE, PLAY FOOTBALL, RUGBY, CRICKET, TENNIS, or simply want to live life without AC PAINS.

Next up STABILITY and then STRENGTH

Until then take care,

Andrew
